    Yellow-Crowned Night Heron

    Got these immature Yellow-Crowned Night Herons today. They should be leaving the nest shortly.

    Good to see that sitting and waiting has turned out better for you than me lol.. So far all I've got to show for my patience is a body full of Mosquito bites and legs cramps.

    Nice find!!! If these are from OHIO , I do believe you found a rare nester. They are quite rare inland in my area.
