Interesting composition and colours, I like the overall result, would maybe consider losing the slightly distracting bracket above the traffic lights.

    Good stuff!

It looks as though it needs sharpened and I would clone out the white reflection in the green light.

John, I like crop #1 best. This subject has some carnival-like colors, and you framed it well.

    Re: No Thru Traffic

Gary-- I had several different crops of this, and #1 was my favorite. Thanks.

Greg -- Don't know how I missed that speck of white. I guess I was so focused on the crop, I overlooked it. Crop #1 was sharpened, crop #2 wasn't. Thanks for catching that white.

Love it! Great colors. I would actually take the first one and crop a bit wider, closer to the 3:2 ratio of film/DSLRs. Nice balance between repeating pattern, small details and contrasting colors. One additional benefit of a wider crop would be potentially losing some of the bottom, where the amount of vertical pattern starts to feel like it's throwing off the balance of the shot.

Thanks, Roger. It's been a struggle for me, but thanks to you and everyone else here, I believe I'm beginning to finally turn the corner.

Reminds me of "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood." Didn't he have a stop light like that indoors? Really.

I like it! Might work better more simplistic without anythng bu the light and stripes, but lide isn't always like that, eh?
