Good capture Greg, I only see one problem here. Off the back of the train there is a piece of modern day civilization peeking through. Some how you need to get that out of the picture.

Very 19th century Greg. Sepia was the way to go here.
Also time for me to start going after train shots.

JK, I have never tried a Sephia before. I can adjust how much yellow in the Hue/Saturation layer. If I add contrast I lose detail, but maybe a little more yellow???? I will play with it some more. Thanks for your input, since I am no expert on Sephia. Feel free to play with it and repost if you like.

I see you got rid of the background distractions. I like this edit better than the other.

    Re: Summerville Depot "The 610"

I like the latest edit as well. The other colors didn't fit it as well, but the increased contrast really adds some pop to the shot. Of course, it would probably be blurrier way back when, but let's not worry about that now :-).

    Re: Summerville Depot "The 610"

Greg, the colors are much better on the first one, I like the grayer version, it looks almost like a tinted b/w, it is different. The last one you did without the grain also works but it is too yellow. I had a good time there, next time we'll have to ride the train. N

    Greg,

I like your angle here. Unfortunately the sky is empty but I bet that it was plain impossible to capture everything at the same time given the kind of light that you have here. This call for HDR!! lol
