    Mandolin Player

    It's been a while since I've posted on critique but I thought I would throw this one up. I'm thinking it could use a bit tighter crop. What do you think?

    I think this could be a really great photo with the crop you are suggesting. Nice and tight from the top of his hat to just below the mandolin, take in the microphone and leave it at that. Looks pretty nice.

    Thanks CF. Here's a cropped version. Please ignore the bad scan. The print is actually quite nice but my scanner is not the greatest for scanning slides.

    I couldn't get myself to crop just below the mandolin. Felt like I needed to keep the mikes in.

    Bit dark on my screen. I would pull up gamma and contrast.
