    good shot rick...has a nice overall focus. A very industrial feel. The shadow adds variations to the grey and silver look.

    I like the composition too. It looks a little soft at the bottom. But I agree that it looks industrial.

    I will offer one suggestion for this type of photography, decide what you want as the main subject. My question with this one is whether you are doing a bike theme, the chain, the cluster or the accumulated wear and tear as main subjects?

    There also is a shadow falling through the sight line that does not aid the overall composition.

    Jkriminger :O) I liked the chance shadow also. :O) Greg,I would have needed maybe F/8 for the DOF? It was a low light/no tripod situation. Good advice drg. I appreciate the suggestions.

    Interesting. I like the used, worn sense of the metal. I can almost smell the grease. Some people are addicted to that.

    Rick,

    I like how the textures have come out in the photo but have to agree about the shadow. When you re-shoot watch out for the blown out areas you'd get from the metal, in some areas it has already started.
