    The Fox & The Mouse

Took a late evening walk where i know where the foxes are and after some time this vixen came out and was curious as to what was sitting under the bush (me) near to her hole.
Before i left for the walk i noticed that my usual little visitor was having a late supper under the bird feeders.

I have posted both these subjects before but its great to know that they are both well and happy.

    Bev,

I wish I lived in your part of the world. The only time I ever see a fox is really late at night dashing into hedges when walking the dog just before going to bed.

    The mice are wonderful.

Re: The Fox & The Mouse

Thanks Roger, i think we all want to be somewhere else at times, i look at some of the fantastic bird species shown on the forum and think "Oh i wish i lived there", but i suppose thats what keeps us photographers wanting that one more elusive subject to shoot!
Knight thanks for comments and you must post your fox image im sure its great and your foxes( i think) are different to ours so it would be great to see it.

That fox is sweet. Your mouse reminded me that yesterday in the field, I stepped (and slipped) on something mushy. It was a mouse...

It was already dead. A friend was with me, she sat her camera bag on the ground while chasing dragonflies, and when she went to pick her bag up, I saw it. She screamed, and we went on. Coming out of the woods, we went through the same area, and when I slipped a little I asked where we saw that mouse and looked down. This time it was flat... YUCK!
