    A Blanket of Colors

Kids and adults at play this afternoon caught my eye.

    What thoughts/impressions does it invoke?

    Thanks!

Hot air balloon is the first thing that comes to mind. I was out with some pilots over the past week and it just is what is the first thought that I had.

I am also thinking about the carnival and circus coming to town.

Many thanks for your input drg, CLKunst, and Louis1!

I was mesmerized by the infinite number of shapes/textures as everyone shook and moved the 'chute. Every image had a completely different feel to it. I chose this one to present for its DOF, "hidden" depressed center, and sloping backdrop.

    Thanks again for looking.

    Re: A Blanket of Colors

    Loupey,

I have been back to view this many times and I really like it for what it is, but it always leaves me wanting more. Perhaps its more texture in the cloth, but it could be something else. Perhaps its just needs to be bigger. The trouble is I can't put into words what that more is, because I don't know what I want to see.

So from that perspective I have to say Nice job.
