    Spring Beauty

The garden is going crazy. I love this time of year.

CF, I'm ecstatic to see at least someone is getting decent weather. Good strong colors.

    John,

This is one of the dryest winters on record. San Diego is a desert anyway with an annual rainfall of 12", but so far this winter we have a grand total of 3". The worst our weather has been all winter is blustery; the winds howls, temps FALL into the low 50's but no rain. As we approach the end of April there is little chance for rain until late November. Thanks for the comments though. I appreciate it.

I know...I've got a buddy who lives in La Jolla, and he's always ragging me about the weather here in Michigan.....he'll go "Man, I like to froze yesterday. It got down to 55."

    Wow, very nice saturation.

    ESO:

Thanks for the comment. The colors are pretty spectacular; the only thing I did to this picture was crop out a dead leaf, otherwise it is what it is. Just thought I would throw that in.

We're still around 30 Fahrenheit and that is just cool. We get well below 55, down to 30F in August in the late evening.

In the 30's at night in August!?! Yikes, Ron. That is just cruel. Doesn't it stay light until 10 pm though?

Nice. I think it would be stronger if the background was blackened.

    Lava,

Good suggestion. I had not thought of that. Thanks.
