Hi all ... this afternoon I went to Polesden Lacey, which was a home and garden owned by a very formidable Edwardian lady. She left the place to the nation when she died, so it is a popular place to go for a visit and the gardens are lovely. This one was taken through a hole in the garden wall, looking toward the gardener's cottage.

I guess I'm just not a fan of this kind of image. They seem self-defeating.
I love the architecture of that time period. I'd be interested to see some more shots of the manor if you have any ;)
