I haven't forgot about my free ride if I ever get over there. I love sailboats so you know I like this one. Well done. Did you not get a new camera?

Its what this type of back is called on boats because it looks like the sugar scoops you use in the kitchen. I was standing on mine at the time of taking.

Offer is still open, and yes its taken with the new gear. 5D and 100-400mm for this shot.

Its the definately the friends on here that keep me cheerful:thumbsup: - Oh! you mean the 5D and lenses

This was taken with the 5D and its straight out of the camera with no levels, mods or anything, except the resize. Not used to that with the Pro 1 where the levels always needed tweaking.

Still getting used to all the bells and whistles, and switches all over the kit

Well its nearly the weekend and its going to be 23C here in the UK so its sailing again and more photos of boats

Congratulations on the new equipment Roger! I like your image and the title didn't make me leap too far to figure out what you meant. It's a lovely clean shot and I like your framing of the shapes. Nice job.

    CL,

Thanks, Still getting used to all the settings and the switches but it seems very intuitive so far. Only looked at the book once

Did you get your site sorted, been busy with work for a while so not been back to look
