    The Office

Shot recently at Londons Docklands. I have an A3 of this beautiful mess which I am very happy with. Interested to hear how others feel about it.
    Thanks

    Re: The Office

This is a very "busy" photograph and I usually don't care for them.

However all that is actually going on is that there a few simple elements and colors repeated a lot so I am thinking that is why I like it.

I would like to see it bigger and at this size I feel the bottom of the image is too dark but I think you did well.

    Very interesting!
It makes me want to know more about what's going on here. What do they do here? Is it supposed to look like this, or has something bad happened to it. It looks cold and harsh.

I want to know how "office" relates to this.
I work w/ disasters. I think that's a lot of why it makes me want to know more.

I agree the bottom is a bit dark, but that doesn't ruin it for me.

I am with MB1 on this on. Very busy, Like it though. I can add nothing to make it any better. The two big pipes and walkway make the shot. This is my cup of tea., well done

I also agree that it is a busy picture... but its also one of those pictures you can just stare at for a while (like I just did) so I suppose its a success

Interesting picture...kind of bleak like a black n white but a lot of subtle color too, with the yellow and blue shades. Is this a working office...or past tense

    Re: The Office

The only thing that bugs me is the fence in teh foreground. Other than that I like the colours and teh composition. The fence may be why others have said the bottom was too dark. I had to really look to figure out what it was.

    Re: The Office

Thanks everyone for your interest. The building is in process of demolition and, for me, it's derelict state is far more interesting as when it was intact. This the office end of a much more larger demolition. The "busyness" of the entire mess is what appeals to me. I take on board the comments concerning the bottom part of the shot though.
    Thanks again
