awesome composition, love the distorted railing and the not so distorted horizon and city. Powerful image, I like.

Vibrand colors, perfectly exposed imo, good focus

    EDIT: it's free? Huh?

Shoot! Now I have to add another lens to my list of wishes.
I really like the third one, a larger version of the second.
I bet its great printed big.

    Re: new fisheye

you should post these in the gallery! You dont need to downsize them near as much and you can still link to them from the forum.

    Welcome to the site.

    Re: new fisheye

You seem to be off to a fast start! Great framing on the first one and the later posts. The city shot is too dark on the left side for me. These seem like they could be framed in an ultra modern frame and hung in a contempuary gallery. Very nice

    Re: new fisheye

Welcome to the forum. Some interesting shots utilizing the fish eye lens. I like the first, originally posted picture . The framing of the city and shoreline through the railing works well. My nit piks with this would be to crop slightly off the left side to eliminate those small corners of dead space. I keep seeing a slightly beter composition had you stooped down a tad lower to avoid the building top creeping up under the bottom rail. Overall, a fine composition.
The second shot is too dark and a very uneffective composition. Too much sky and not enough exposure in the ocean.
The other two are not bad, except the last one has the sky blowing out, which I think is hurting the picture there.
    Looking forward to more .

    Re: new fisheye

You have a lens flare in the upper left of the image and also a hot spot on the rail. This would probably be more noticed on a large print. I think that I would take care of those before I had it enlarged. But other than that nice work and congrats on the feature.

    Re: new fisheye

WOW...I'm honored folks. I took some advice and cropped and took out the lens flare in the Photo Gallery section addition of this picture but I'm not sure if I like it better or not. I kind of like the extra curved lines on the left as in this photo. Anyway...THANKS AGAIN...and your advice is welcome because other than having an idea of what might be a good shot...I don't have much experience.
