    Cool Translucent Greens

Nothing too exciting. Unique lighting, shifting shadows.I thought maybe someone might critique these. Anyone? Are they even worth posting ?

    Yes!

I don't agree -- they are exciting to me. The backlighting is awesome.

I like all of them, but they all also have one bad point, they are too soft. If they were sharp around the outlines of the leaves then I would be happy Can you sharpen them a bit?

    Talking Re: Translucent Greens

Really...? Thanks! All right... Yes, I know...Softness: It's my lense. I did use the unsharp mask P.P.

O.k. These were all looking straight up from a distance of 20 feet. I used 300mm zoom. The lense I used is a Tokina AF 75-300 macro, it's not known for sharpness in the 200-300mm focal plane.

What it is known for is bokeh! The backgrounds with this lense are great...but,, the images are soft.It works o.k. for flower pics.

How can I get over this issue using post processing? Or is it time for a lense upgrade.

    B.T.W. it's a $75.00 lense. hahaha.
Here is a another angle. What do you think? Also see...

I agree with GB1 all the way, I like the background on the first three. And they do seem soft.

Right about now, I'd gladly kill for some green leaves . Ok, not really--but you get my drift.
