    Curlews

Had a spare hour to kill today so sat on the river bank whilst the tide was out, (as its the best time for waders and egrets) and just watched the Curlews, eating and walking up and down, loved the patterns they make when in flight.

I had to use my 100-400 plus 1.4TC to get reasonably close to these.

Great shots Bev! I like the pattern of the birds in the last image. I'm really looking forward to seeing some shore birds around here.

Another nice series, Bev! I'd see how the last (first? the one with the line of birds) one looks in print and hang it.

    Thanks Copy, Paulnj and Payn.
I have an exhibition going in my local town Library starting this Friday so i may have a go at your suggestion Payn and see how it turns out, as i have a small section of sea birds and waders included.
