    little guys from the backyard

Not much happening this weekend as we had some company come by for the weekend.

Spotted these guys yesterday. Good signs that spring is almost rooted in place now with the RWBB showign his face. They are not too common around our area (mostly due to competition with the Jays and Cardinals) but a welcome sign of warmer weather.

Re: little guys from the backyard

Thanks copy. I think that feel is the soft focus I am getting from this lens under cloudy skies and diffuse light. I like the feel too...but I still want that tack sharp look that you and loupey get.

I'll probably have to spend a gajillion dollars on a Canon to get it though lol.

Here's a few more from a few minutes ago.

The Robins finally showed their pretty little heads and the Grackles are getting more comfortable with me around.

Thank you Bev for telling me to use the shadow's / highlights tool also. I have learned now how to use it so well, that I very rarely have to make exposure adjustments any more.
