    Reflections

An old abandoned restaurant at the Salton Sea. The water was calm enough to catch this scene. I'm not sure if I should have flipped it for art's sake? Eh, why not -- attached as a smaller image.

    Comments appreciated.

Not bad at all but for me it doesn’t look like water, I think you should also emphasize the water, the reflection of an old restaurant. So that it will look better.

Really? You guys think that it would be better to disturb the water? I thought it was somewhat of a plus to get one this perfectly clear (guess not).

Love the mirror image effect.A ripple would work for 1 shot only.
Nice catch. well composed, #2 " the flip " is a great one.

    Re: Reflections

Thks for the comments. Hmm.. perhaps 'before the ripple' and 'during the ripple' shots right next to each other would have worked nicely. Food for thought.

    Re: Reflections

these look good together. i must say though, i was so confused when i first looked at the both of them. they're almost a reflection of eachother.
You could try a ripple effect in PS. i don't know if it's a good idea, but it's worth a shot

The ripple effect is a great idea, but I can't get the freaking thing to work :blush2: I guess I have a ways to go on PS.

Here's a few expts I did come up with. Not what I intended, but fun anyways...............

i like the orignal the best, and i think the ripple effect would be great but alittle strong and like you said not what you intended but its better than what i would have done hahah nice shot all around

    Re: Reflections

yeah, i tried it too, i can't make it work.
just go back an throw a rock, thattl make it ripple.
and i'm still not sure a ripple is a good idea, just something to try
