Sequels are as popular here as they are in Hollywood–Canon sequels are the new Speedlite 580EX II and EF 16-35mm f2.8L II. Highlights for the speedlite are weather sealing, a metal foot, and flash control from the new 1D Mk III's control panel. Recycling time is claimed to be 20% faster, and silent to boot. Another feature that I noticed during our demo is that the flash head pivots around 180 degrees in *both* directions, not just one. (People who like to bounce flash behind themselves--photojournalists and wedding shooters--will like this change.)
In the bonus sequel category, we have the wireless transmitter WFT-E2. It's a second generation unit too, and it features faster file transfer, USB hosting, remote triggering, and GPS support.
