Re: Cherry Codial with Brandy (Dark)

    Hi there

I always like these sort of shots which have a strong graphic quality. You've cropped it just right I think. The "Cherry Cordial ...." lettering too is a very nice touch. Just two things: Perhaps it would be better to clone out just those few letters bottom right? Also, the holes between the two bottom boxes seems a little distracting - maybe cloning the bottom right box over just a little?

    Cheers
    Mike

Very nice. Good composition with the strong diagonals giving interest and effective complimentery colors. Print it.

Woooah... pretty neat! Nice color, geometrics and overall composition. I also wonder would have it been even stronger with a more disciplined arrangement of the bottom-center box, where the box would come in contact with the left-side one? The exposure is good, slightly dark which I think gives it mystery. There's no particular spot to look at but the geometry makes that irrelevant. Good job.

Thank you all for your comments. I should've shot more variations but I saw some of the employees looking at me ready to intervene.....if you know what I mean.

Mike.....I'll be cloning out the 'Cre' at the bottom. I feel bad for not catching that myself. I'm always telling others to pay attention to the edges of their photo. Oops on me!

GB, a more organize set of candy may have been stronger. I wish I shot more of these.

The place has a botanical garden which my wife is interested in visiting when in bloom. I may have a chance to go back.

    Thanks again

Very good framing here. I knew Chunk would like this I agree with Mike's comments for improvement. Good eye for a shot. Well done.
