Boy Scout Memorial in the winter.

I sure was looking forward to some snow. Didn't get any .

Anyway I was out taking photos after work and got this odd view of the Boy Scout Memorial right in front of the White House. I tired for some dark and moody distortion with my widest lens and a split ND filter.

Got some.

#1 is my favorite, great lighting and composition.
only gripe is the Washington Memorial(?) in the background, it might work a little better if it was perfectly centered on the tree or a little more to the right.

i like two and tthree.. they have an eerie ghostly look about them.. not friendly either.. more like they are gonna walk out the frame at u.. well done..

number one looks amazing. the tree silhouettes look great on that sky and the hole is nice lol. great colors.
