    Reverie

Is there a time limit on the age of photos that will be accepted by this website? I took this in August of 1980 on Kodachrome/slide film. I have been looking through old photos today, found this, scanned it in, and thought I would share it.

    Hope you like it.

Unfortunately, too far away, too late at night, too blue in colour balance, insufficient well-exposed detail and no obvious centre of interest.

    Well, not everything works well.

    Ron,

Thanks for commenting. It was posted just for fun, it is 27 years old and thought it might be fun to share.

I don't disagree with any of your comments other than the color balance. This is how it came back from Kodak. Doesn't mean they didn't put in too much blue, but just wanted you to know I didn't add it.

    Thanks again.

    Trog,

Thanks for commenting. This was taken in my early days of photography. I didn't know an f-stop from a bus stop. I posted it just for fun.

    Re: Reverie

I find that a lot of night shots are either too warm or too cool in terms of colour balance depending on how much artificial or sky_moonlight is in the scene. For film deciding whether a blue or orange filter is necessary and for digital shooting RAW it is simply adjusting the colour temperature.
