Roger, I like your use of the footbridge as the fg element leading us into the scene. I think, though, that this one would be a great candidate for a b&w conversion.

I think that I like #2 the most but this one is still good. The color in the foerground doesn't seem as strong on this one. Gary my have something with the B&W idea.

Gary, - I never thought of converting this to B&W, and guess what your right. Its terrific in B&W I love it loads.

Greg, - Yes I know the colours kept changing every few seconds and the clouds were moving at a colossal rate causing all sorts of weired effects. Top cloud on the left isn't bad cloning in post processing it was actually there in the sky.LOL

Here is the black and white version

    Trog,

Thanks for the hidden complement Glad you like the colour even though its power station. I know the Nottingham side of the Trent well and the power stations in that area. My wife has relatives living there. Must find some of the B&W I took of the power station in that area to see if I can convert you to Power stations

Personally I don't think I over use B&W and therefore don't have an issue with it.

I sometimes think of pictures in B&W and take them in that medium. Most of my early days in Photography as an amateur was in B&W and loved it for its beauty.
