    Jan. 8 Surf

    All are out on Sandy Hook,NJ.
    Tokina 12-24 and nikkor 80-200 2 ring.

    Nice job, I like #1 and the series of the surfer getting swallowed by the wave, just wish they were a bit tighter, but they still look good.

    That first shot is the best for me, definitely.
    I just wish he wasn't walking mostly on his heels.
    Yes, I know that's the only way to walk in flippers - I've done flippers and belly boarding myself back in my 20s. Just one web-footed print in the sand...

    You've got the motion going into the image, you've got a wonderful sky, the sea horizon is straight, the timing of his walk with the flipper on the sand - it's all there.

    I wonder though if some adjustment can bring up the colours on his board, perhaps a little more contrast in the sky too. It's great, I like it, but it's a little bit short of poking me in the eyes and making me go WOW!
