I can't offer a critique except to say I like the image.

I'm very interested in the way you processed it. Was it shot in B&W? It doesn't look like a simple gray scale conversion.

yogestee, this is very good. The lighting, exposure and the bg and overall environment add to the shot. Also, the pose is good as well. I really don't care for sepia too much, but I think it works perfectly here. nothing to improve upon for me, excellent.

This is very good. I like the sepia, just enough color, not overdone. You have an eye for portraiture, your gallery confirms this.

Congrats on the sticky. Your picture of the 100+ year old man is still one of my favs. I was going to nominate it for one of my three choices for best picture. Nice job...

    Re: Jean Jacque

Thanx Herriot,,,,a bit of a weird story about this photograph...Jean Jacque was sitting at a table next to us as we were having a late breakfast..Somehow he must have recognised our Aussie accents..He politely excused himself as only the French can and asked us if we had heard the bad news...He went on to explain there had been another bombing in Bali with Australian casualties the night before...We had been "bush" for a few days and hadn't heard any news from the outside world...He got up from the table bought a bottle and we drank to the deceased and injured and cursed the bombers..
