    What a shame...

This just really upsets me when people who don't have a just dump off stuff without even thinking about the effect on people it will have. Here's what I saw today :mad2:

OK, maybe i am just an idiot, but isn't that blue stuff intended to keep birds from eating the seed? And it looks like a sparrow, am I failing to see something profound?

I failed to post all of the details as I was kind of rushing before I got off of work. A nursery truck backed on this empty lot and illegally dumped this blue substance there. The area landscapers came by shortly after to clean up the mess. I am not sure what it was but it kind of looked like shredded up wet paper that had been dyed blue. Whatever it was the birds just loved it. There were about 5 or 6 of them there pecking away at it. As soon as I got about 10 feet away they went right back to it. I hope they are not harmed by it.

I may be wrong, but that looks like the fertilizer soaked stuff that is sprayed on freshly seeded areas.

I don't know what exactly it is but a nursery truck did dump it in a common area and someone complained about it. Our landscapers were able to clean it up shortly after I took this picture. Here's another pic of the area.
