I like them both although I want to rotate the top image a bit to the left.

I really, really like the top image for it's simplicity in color and subject.

I, too, really like both photos. The lower photo might be a smidge dark but that is small stuff. The rounded edges throughout the photo are really nice. Colors are great. The upper photo is my favorite. But is it a bit too hot at the extreme of the DOF; I don't know, just asking. On the other hand, I like how the image ranges from black to white leading from left to right. It works, but wonder if the white is tooo white. Colors are great, the image is solid.

    Nice work.

Jaffar, the top image is very good. The perspective is nice, although the color looks too saturated for this scene, in my opinion/personal preference.
the bottom image I feel is cropped too tightly around the plow in the fg. The background seems busy but it is ok. i would just like to see more space to the front ,back and bottom of the plow.

Very Nice. I love the patterns and tones of the first but think it might be even better with deeper shadows and lower highlights.

The second has two interesting subjects that compete for attention. I would like to see both the plow and the columnade in their own shots. Perhaps a shot with the plow as a subject would be okay with the columns in it if they were out of focus in the background. I also find the fairly straight side view to be somewhat static and would suggest a more angled composition if possible with in its setting.
    Good work.

"I tweaked the photos with photoshop"

why do i wonder what the images were like before the "tweak"..

the colours in the top one look wrong.. and the bottom one has a pinkish tone to it that i am sure shouldnt be there.. i comment purely because of the "tweak" factor..

ronnoco said recently experimenting for the sake of experimenting dosnt work.. i dont overly agree with his views on experimenting even thow in most cases they are probably true.. but i do feel that "tweaking" for the sake of tweaking is a far more common problem and mostly dosnt work either..

    Jaffar

I like the composition of the top photo but agree that some of the areas are a tad bright and the shadows need to be a little darker. (see caution about laptop at the end).

In the bottom picture there isn't enough room for the plough and it needs a little more room on both left and the right, especially with the ruin wall. A different angle on this one could improve the shot. However, I wasn't there so don't know what you had to work with. There could be a brand new office block there.

The contrast in this picture also looks a little dark on my laptop but this could be ok on my normal montor which is calibrated properly.
