    A Pelican

    I went to Bolsa Chica Reserve today and the Pelicans were all around

    Karen, this is a great image, but the color is way to blue. Do you mind if I correct it and repost? I am not great at PS though

    Oh, I'm jealous! I lived in California for most of my life and never heard of Bolsa Chica until I moved back to New York :mad2:

    Nice image Karen, I think Paulnj is right... it needs a lil tweaking.

    I did this yesterday real fast(levels, variations, open shadows, noise reduction, sharpen...) , so I can't say for sure how I got to this.

    Your image, as I stated, is AMAZING!!!! Alot of mediocre to just "nice" images are actually only lacking a few things in an editing program(Photoshop, paintshop...) to make them "WOW" images. I knew at first glance that your image was exactly that!

    Wow, that does look a lot better thanks, I bought Photo impact a few months ago I need to play with it more (not just to put pink borders around tigers )

    I agree! That image is very nice! The exposure is great, the body/head position is near perfect, the centered subject is not distracting and the downward angle isn't that distracting either!
