I think you captured a nice moment here KK. I think there's a lot of things going on, almost to the pt of distraction however -- but it's mostly OK. I think the fellows in the front make the shot - I might have even cropped/zoomed in, so to get them bigger. That would also have eliminated the bright area in the foreground that I feel is the one big weakness of the photo. Why is it so soft btw? You may have used too slow a shutter. You prob didnt need f16, so next time try moving a little of that exposure over to the aperature side. Try sharpening it up also, see what you get.

Very good... I really feel the time has stop. It feels like the old b&w photos of the far west but in color. I would ajust the contrast a bit and add unsharp mask.

Excellent shot, with a very "down home" feeling. I played around with applying a "sepia" filter to it, and there is a lot that could be done with it--not saying it needs adjustment, just that a wide variety of moods can be projected. The reds and golds look well in sepia, but one has to do a lot to the blues (jeans and shirts) to make it fit, so I wouldn't know where to stop. In my (humble, unprofessional) opinon, the locale and atmosphere "make the shot", not the fellows, although they do improve the overall feel. Some sharpening would enhance the shot, but, frankly, I like the large depth of field... but that's just me.
