    Deer, deer and more deer.

A small buck on a frosty morning.

A small buck is freshing up a scrape while a doe feeds in the field.

An 8 pointer coming out of the woods.

Another buck in the tall grass.

This big boy didn't want to pose for a photo.

    Two more bucks.

    Another little one.

    Gotta love the rut!

A small doe that came very close to me.

    Another 8 pointer.

Another amazing group of images. Don't forget you have a new bride at home and spend all your time in that blind with the your camera.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Hey Paul. What time are you done with work today? I'm going to try to get out there tonight for a little while, if I can get out of here at 3:30.

Great job once again. I really enjoyed your buck-in-the-grass shot as well as the last one.

    Thanks for sharing.

    These are some great images!

I wish I still lived where I had for the last 8 years because I had habitat just like that around the corner.

I now live in a residential neighborhood with 1/2 acre at best lots. monday morning I had a 7 pointer chase a doe 3 feet from my running truck as I was dropping it into gear....she gave in too He was chased off by a 4X6(9pointer with a kicker on the 5 side) . I sat there in my truck with only my cell phone and the SOB bucks were directly infront of the rising sun so no image was possible :mad2:

    Thanks Paul, Loupey and Paul.

I haven't seen any of the does give in yet, but I have seen lots and lots of chasing. I'm hoping to spend all day out there Saturday, and most of Sunday. This weekend will be my last real chance during the rut. I went out last night after work, but with the time change, there just isn't enough daylight left after work to get into position.

    Great shots Michael!!!

I gotta admit though, as I'm looking at them, I'm thinking, pass, pass, BOOM! (Sound of a .30-06 going off)

Some real monsters out there! Enjoy them. Hope you get some good shots during the rut. They are real beauties.

Thanks Gramps! I'm planning on spending most of the weekend trying to get a better shot of the big guy from the 6th pic. This will be my last chance while the rut is still in full swing.
