Smile Squirrels

This one was taken through a window (the only one of the five)…

Re: Squirrels

I agree that the in flight image is great!

I have red squirrels in my front yard and they like the walnut tree in my neighbor's yard(20 feet from my balcony). The SOB neighbor cut off the branch they sit on and ruined the tree and my shot! Grrrr, I would have pruned that tree for free for him(I do tree work)

Sorry but I LMAO! LOL, I find myself getting upset by things (people included) that ruin what would be, or would have been a good wildlife or nature image

Thanks Paul, Paul, and Scott.

This guy was showing off with a one-handed landing

Re: Squirrels

It bothers me more that they moved in and bought a run down 7000 square foot home(3 story late 1800's home) and dumped atleast $200k into making it amazing looking(seamless copper gutters/slate roof looks great) and landscaping is starting to get there. BUT the guy had a LANDSCAPER cut his tree and apsolutely ruin it! The shot can still be had, but in a harder location .

Re: Squirrels

You should take your portfolio over to your neighbors and show them what they are now missing out on. Maybe then they will look at thing sdifferntly other than landscape design.

Re: Squirrels

Great shots Copy-Kot! these really are fun little guys to photographs, love em all!

I have neighbours that cut a bush right back and wrecked a Thrushes nest with 5 eggs in! (they are very limited around here) and they didnt seem at all bothered by it, and then on another occasion, they let their dog out whilst my hand tame robins chicks had come out the nest onto their lawn and i had to watch in horror whilst it got hold of one! i know its only natural for a dog, and i have 5 of them! but this time i really felt like letting it feel my boot!! Poor Chippy's squeaks of horror watching his youngster meet its death was unbearable! so this time my neighbours had a piece of my mind! Sometimes the human race bewilders me!

Re: Squirrels

Spotlights and flying squirrels! Great shooting. I am big fan of squirrelly photography. Just remember to feed all winter if you have been feeding in the nicer weather. Otherwise, they come up and tap on the deck window. Well, mine do that anyway if I miss breakfast for them or they can't rob one of the bird feeders.

Glad to see these, thanks.
