    Early morning...

Took these about 3 weeks ago in San Diego. Left a little early for work to get the sun coming up...

Not sure how I could have made these better?

    Re: Early morning...

I would like to see more sky and more image to the right of the pier. Plus I think the horizon is too near the center of the image. Perhaps a wider angle lens.

OTOH there is great mood and color in these images. Go into work early more often!

Beautiful GB. I particular love the movement of the fishermen in #1 but equally I love the motionless silhouettes of the fishermen in #2.
    Great images

Good work GB. I like the second. It's a very soothing picture. It was worth leaving early for sure. The lamp post sets it off...

    Re: Early morning...

MB - I see what you mean about the horizon being so centered... I guess I really wanted those pilars in there. Yeah, maybe a wide angle would have worked better.

Easy to get a reshoot any time I want, though you cant predict the color.

THks Alison. I lean towards the stationary fishermen myself. The blur almost seems like a mistake (?)

Greg - Do you mean by set it off that the lamppost doesnt belong there?

No, I think it's in the perfect spot. The first one seems a little to centered, but that's just me. I also love the perfect exposure. I would have blown it out for sure..
