i got out today and tried some shots at the soccer game. heres a few of the good ones that i did get. This was my first shot (pun only slightly intended) at sports action and any comments and critiques are welcome and greatly appreciated.

In each of those photos I would crop everything out but the 2 players nearest the ball.

Except for the lighting (which I know you had no control over) I like the bottom photo the best as you presented them (even this one IMHO would improve with a bit of croping).

1 and 3 are good action shots and I agree cropping would improve them.

Yes, the crops improve things although the middle one doesn't work for me. #1 and #3 have a flow and great facial expressions. #2 just makes the girl in white look awkward to me.
