    Drew,

    I like this quite well. It has caused me to think about what you are trying to convey. I’m not sure of you original thought however, I have drawn my own conclusions. My only though is if the lighting above the doorway is too bright. My eye keeps going there and it might have more weight that what you want or is needed. Very good image.

    The black and white image was from a body of work that i did last year. The color image is one that i took last week. The b&w was shot with a 4x5 camera at night and was a very long exposure. That image was originally a park bench that faced a storage shed. At that time i was trying to convey a dark moody scene. However, for the montage, i wanted to lighten the feeling of the image to create a lighter mood. I also wanted to blend two dimensions together b&w/color and reality/dreamlike sequence. The process of producing the images was fairly easy; i used a layer mask of the color image over the b&w and "erased" some of the color layer. Thanks for the comments, here's another montage from the same project.
