Well... it is autumn you know!

At the risk of becoming trite, some more fall colors for ya!

On the way back from a business trip today, I couldn't resist a short stop at a state park.

Hey, Sushigaijin - what is that frog? Saw a few scoot through the leaves until I spotted this one. About 2 1/2" long.

    Thanks for looking!

Well you certainly change your moods to your surroundings! they are all great! I love Autumn time for photography, the colour ranges are great.

Especially like the last image, the seeds drifting off look like puffs of smoke, very effective.

Well spring and summer are my favorite seasons, but fall does bring quite a bit of color. Those are beautiful images, and i really like the one of the frog.

Thanks for the comment guys. Those wood frogs and I were pretty funny - darn near impossible to try to sneak up on one with all those crunchy leaves That 300mm comes in handy!

Thanks for the milkweed seeds comment, Bev. I was actually trying to get a seed just as it lets go in the breeze but its taken me 3 nights only to get this close. In the sunny evenings, the light is only usable during the last 30 minutes before sunset. Any earlier and the highlights-to-shadows ratio is too high. Fill flash has been ineffective as it looses that "natural" look. A major storm went through this evening so I'm afraid all my pods have been decimated for the season
