    The Kingfisher

Well it seems like ages since i have had a chance to photograph something a little more interesting than sparrows, hence a trip to my favourite retreat alongside a river in the forest where i knew the kingfisher lived, after 5 days of watching, observing his feeding stations along the river, at 6oclock on a very foggy morning (hence the horrid background in the static shot)... he landed.
The flight shots were on the same day in the afternoon when the fog had cleared to leave a hot day.

    Its good to be back.

How did I know they were going to be in-flight shots

Nice job panning. The colors of your bird are fantastic!

That kingfisher has some beautiful colors, much nicer than the ones we have here.
