Hey I've been at the Tim Brauch Memorial today, goin back tomorrow, and snapped a bunch of shots - when I wasn't just watching the contest. Anyway, this kid - Jesse Santoyo (spelling?) - kicked some serious butt. Here's one shot from the competition so far, I'l post more tomorrow.

don't crop from the top, I like the composition. just clone out whatever is coming off his helmet. it's distracting.

Brent, I'll try that. They were all skating with iPod or shuffle orthe like and had headphones flying everywhere. Anyway, he's a couple more.

jesus, you've listed your equipment, stuff that most men could only dream of owning and the best pic you have is an average blunt stall taken from the most basic obvious angle. pretty poor sire, better use could be made of that truckload of gear you have

:mad2: Your first post and that's what you write? No introduction to the forums, no biography to get to know anyone, no lurking to learn the way this board works?

Okay, I can agree that these shots may not be the best, but when you're shooting a contest - and this contest in particular - shooters were only allowed to shoot from particular areas that did not necessarily yield the best angles.

Anyway, thanks for your criticisms and helpful response. I look forward to seeing more posts from you. :thumbsup:
