Being an entertainer sounds like perfect training for a Capitol Hill Staffer. I like the image but the green stage lighting isn't all that flattering. What is the blurry thing in the upper right corner?

This is a fun shot, CL, but I wonder if I would really feel the same way without the descriptive title. I definitely see the juxtaposition of the business suit and the stage lighting/instruments, but I don't know if it really says "Capitol Hill staffer" to me.
That said, I really like the lighting and I think it's a fun moment. Your subject is very pretty and it looks like she's having a blast. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the comments. Jim, I agree that the lighting isn't exactly a complimentary color. Nothing I can do about that unfortunately since most of the green cast is coming from the neon signs and garden spots with cellophane pasted to them that surround the stage area and this is custom white balanced to the scene as close as I can get it. That's really what the colors look like when you're there. The blurry thing in the corner is the top end of a guitar neck from on of the guys in the band. I decided to leave it in because I didn't want her to become too centered in the frame, but perhaps it is distracting.

McMC you're probably right about the context of the title. Some people have more success with that than I do (Tuna). But she is a hill staffer in her real life and those kind of outfits are pretty ubiquitous up there. In fact I think I've only ever seen her in that suit or one just like it. She frequents the same bar I do from time to time. She was having fun and has a nice singing voice to boot. Thanks for tuning in.
