    Butterflies

Found in and around the Toronto Zoo. The monarch was found outdoors in it's natural habitat (read: They're EVERYWHERE) the other 2 were found in the Indo Mayalan Pavillion.

Very nice. I like #1 and #3 for the natural setting. I like #1 over #3 for the wing position.

Tip: expose for the highlights to keep them from blowing out.

    Good job

    Re: Butterflies

    Thanx Loupey.

I am still trying to figure out exactly how to meter for the highlights with my camera. Theres no light meter in the view finder so it leaves you kind of shooting blind. What I have been reduced to is shooting the shot 3 or 4 times metering on different areas.. which with wildlife isn't always probable.

I am thinking of investing in a pocket light meter but I haven't really figured out how that is going to help me as I don't know how to manually adjust for it on the camera yet anyway.

Then learn to adjust exposure comp, like I do. Does the camera have a spot meter or other than full scene meter?
