    Fighting for the flowers

This wasp was following this butterfly around (butterfly habitat in DC), chasing it off the flowers...I was pretty happy to get a decent shot of the two.

I love the way you captured this Emily.
What did you use to get this done?
(Can you send these cooperative insects up here to NY for another shoot? :-) )

    Thanks Loupey & Coachgns!

I used my Quantaray 70-300...we were at the Museum of Natural History, and there's a butterfly habitat right outside. My daughter was exclaiming over the butterflies, and she spotted this wasp flitting around as well.
I just snapped a couple shots, and hoped for the best, honestly.

I don't really have anything profound or otherwise to add, but it is a very good photo!

Great and unusual color with fine composition.

    Congrats on the sticky.
