    Been Away

I've been in training with a new company for a month away from home with no camera, no computer. Here's a few I took when I was back over a weekend...

very cool. that's actually a good sized adult, narrowmouth toad. I like the first image: proves that macro/close-up photography does not have to be documentary to be good.

    Nice shots Lava Lamp!

Is that your finger the toad is on? Did you shoot that one-handed?

Thank you for the comments and for the featured photo honor. Yes, that is my finger, and yes, it is handheld. I don't know what happened in the first photo -- there is less DOF than their shoudl have been. Maybe some condensation?

No, I meant condensation, as when you take the lens out of an air conditioned house into 96 degrees and high humidity and it fogs up. I was standing in the pool, too, where I found (and rescued) the toad.
