I can understand what caught your attention. The mowed section of the grass spoils the shot in my opinion. I don't know how I would have executed it since eliminating that portion would mean that the bottom of the tree would have been chopped off.
Perhaps another tree with a similar background minus the mowed part? Or write if off as a "close one but not all there" scenes.
