    Babies

    Here are some youngsters I saw while at a rally in the Blackhills.
    The kid was with its mother near Mt. Rushmore. It was real nervous and scampering about 20 yards up the rocks and then back down to where its mom was feeding placently along the roadside.

    The fawn was found by our campsite by a friend who had seen it stand up and stretch.
    It wouldn't move a muscle while I was on top of a picnic table trying to get a shot of it.

    My friends are aproaching a group of buffalo who were grazing along the road. A few minutes later I had a lot closer view but didn't take any pics as my main concern was getting through the buffalo and cars stopped to observe them.

    These are some great images! I love those goats and the fawn is very typical indeed.

    I'm with you... stay clear of buffalos at close distance. My friend owns a buffalo farm and even his are dangerous at times.
