    Foxy evening

Right, hubby is away on a fishing trip, evening to myself, so on went the camo gear and down to some fields that i know foxs lived, into a bush i go ( a little different to birding) but about an hour later my mission was fruitful!

I was privialiged to spend about half an hour (because of the light) with these 2 poor bedraggled looking foxes, a lot of the foxes in the UK suffer from mange and along with their moult it makes them look so poor.

Hahaha, Bev gets out the camo and goes camera hunting. That is so cool, because I have been tripped over doing the same by blind photogs chasing the same subject.

These images are in need of a bit more saturation and those foxes are quite nice images. As for mange, though a few images look a bit mangey, you should see the mange ridden foxes in my area. It is sad to see them slowly die from mange

Very nice shots. There is a rather abundant and healthy fox population in my immediate vicinity but they are quite wary. Camo huh? Now if I can just get those noisy Audubon folks to quit giving lectures in the woods. . .

    Again nice shooting.

Yes it was with the 1D, and i was really pleased with the results as it was 8.30 p.m. quite overcast so well pleased with the way it tackled the low light situation.

Thanks for kind comments, OT, Payn817, drg & Knight, and Paulnj il work on this saturation thingy!
