Critique my E-mail Card Please!

Good Morning All!

I just had a very happy session with these two great kids. The mama is so happy with her picture she wants to use it as a e-mail promo for me to be exposed to three different e-mail rings she is involved in. Does this design convey a professional enough attitude? Logo too big? Lettering kept in a Border? I'm open for suggestions please!

CL - Not bad there. I'd tweak it a little: the white text is blending into the bkgd a little too much. I changed it to the same color as the logo (which looks great) as an expt, but you might try keeping it white and just bolding it. Or, adding a frame and leaving a space below the image area for the logo and web site info. It's all open for creative adjustments.

Attached is an example of what I did. I really do like the logo and I think its size is OK.

Real nice, but I agree with GB1. I'd put a thin black border around the image and seperate the white type a bit with a slight drop shadow...

I like the last version you posted the most. Although I think the logo is a bit more intrusive in this version...I want to focus on the photo, not your logo.

i like it with the logo, this way, you can see the photo, but it's YOU you are advertising, right? Maybe this way, it'll make them want more, lol

I agree with Tao here. The Logo has mysteriously outgrown its humble nest.. I'd shrink it back to the size it was originally, see how it looks.

I'm a bit torn on the black border. It creates a more serious look to me. Definitely don't make it thicker, cause it might look like an obituary as they typically have black borders (I was surprised once where a lot of people didn't know that... odd).

Finally - I personally like the text below the picture, but I would make the top line a different color or different size or font to spice it up.

Hmm.... OK. I thought the logo had grown too, but it didn't look so big until I had them posted. Here's one more variation. This one appeals to me a lot but I might be starting to over think this.

That looks cool! I'll give it a go with another pinstripe around the whole thing a more muted interior color and then send it out. Thanks for your help with this GB! Is advertising/design what you do in your other life?
