    Lazuli Bunting

    Lazuli Bunting Passerina amoena

    This is the male. Female is much more drab, brown with a hint of blue in the wings and two white wing bars

    They are a bit more shy than some of the others. They are getting more tame as time goes by. Before, I could only get close enough to observe them through binoculars. Now, I'm getting a little closer. The feeder shots were taken through a screen, so please forgive the fuzz. I'll continue to pursue better shots.


    Canon Rebel XT Digital SLR, Canon 75-300mm IS lens Photos taken Friday, April 14 and today.

    Looks like you need help with exposure comp and need an external flash judging by the first image ;)

    Great bird , but the last 3 are a bit degraded from cropping it appears.
