    Duck

I took this of a Mallard I saw at the lake over the weekend. It was mid day so the lighting wasn't right but I couldnt tell the duck to come back at sunset.

If you had a pop-up flash on a digital camera, this would have been a perfect time to use it.
A guideline for animal photography is that you need to be level with the eyes and the eyes need to be visible and usually sharp and in-focus.

Have you considered using Photoshop and curves to selectively brighten up and add detail to certain darker areas of your photo? It would considerably improve your photo.

    Zenabi,

I think you pointed out the one thing I would comment on, and that's about the lighting. The colors look good and the composition is good (the tight crop works great IMO).

    Well done,

    Jared
