    Around the corner

    Okay, so I'm trying to work with some of the suggestions made on my Lamps thread...and I did a few photos today, trying to see what I could do with fences in my neighborhood. I know it's not quite the same as the lamps, but it's still giving me practice all the same. This is one of the ones I felt came out pretty well. I fiddled with it a bit on the computer...

    I went back to the lamps post to see what you were trying to work on. I guess my first impression is that this seems like black and white with a purple sky, which doesn't look right. Also I'm not sure the subject is very well defined. It kinda seems like I'm waiting for a kid or a dog or something to appear on that path, rather than looking at the repeating lines of the fence (if that is what you wanted...)

    Yeah...you're absolutely right...the color on this is totally off.
    I AM going for the repeated effect...and I understand what you're saying about confusion re: the subject. I have a hard time figuring out how to get the angle I want.
