Day lily and Bumble Bee

As this is my first posting of a photo here I choose two I took yesterday. They were taken after a 6 hour rain. I used my Fuji S5100 (S5500) in macro mode.

Very impressive - how do you get the bees to stay still for even a micor second?

The composure and the DOF is spot on and the colours really pop out. My preference is the top one with the single flower - superb

Thank you, usually I just stand a still as possible and wait for the perfect moment. I found if the bee is on the group of flowers they stay and don't even notice you are there.
