Hello all, I have been reading the comments of others in this forum and learned quite a bit. Thought I can learn even more by posting photos for critique. I am relatively new to photography and would really hope to find ways to improve. All comments are welcomed. Thank you!!

Welcome to the boards and always a pleasure to have another Canadian on the forums! The more the merrier! I love your first shot, perfect DOF and wonderful subject. In your second one, it would be nice to increase your DOF a little so the whole leave was in focus, and also watch the tile pattern behind the leaf in the background, that can become a tad distracting. Other then that, great shooting and welcome to the boards!
