Nectar Of The Gods

It may be closing in on December 1, but in San Diego the bird of paradise are in bloom and the bees stop by for a quick drink of the sweet nectar inside.

Re: Nectar Of The Gods

I guess I am loosing my mind because I thought that I had already posted a reply but here it goes again. I think the colors are very vivid and stand out well against the green background. The focus is right on and this combination makes for a very nice picture, Jeff

I forgot to reply to this the first time I saw it, but the colors in this are magnificent. The OOF green background really makes this shot

A lot of color here CF. Very pretty. The bee is icing on the cake so to speak.

Re: Nectar Of The Gods

Thanks, GB. I was waiting for my Mom to get off the phone, picking her up on Friday morning for the weekly errand run. Her patio is surrounded by bird of paradise, I had my camera and took advantage of the perfect morning light. Hope you had a nice holiday weekend.
