Introducing Myself
Hello! I registered here quite a ways back but I don't think I have yet posted. Thought I should get around to introducing myself.
I am Jane from NJ. Married, 4 kiddos ages 19, 15, 14 and 7. A houseful of pets. A passion for photography.
I have had my own photography business for 6 years. Before that I worked for others in the business for a number of years.
I have a photography mentoring program and I also run an online support group for women with cancer.
My specialties in photography are pets, babies, children, teens and photographic art.
I will try and post a few of my images...

Re: Introducing Myself
Hello, Jane, and thank you for the introduction.
Wonderful set of images here (my favorite is the dachshund). I took a look at your website - very impressive!
Hope to see you around. I'm sure everyone will appreciate comments/advice/examples from someone who has been in the business for a while.

Re: Introducing Myself
Welcome, Jane! Nice shots. The forks are fascinating. I imagine they are titled forks in the road.

Re: Introducing Myself
Welcome to PR, Jane! Wow! You have a busy life - and it sounds like you have some good times with all of your children, pets - and interests.
Your photos are quite impressive. They're all unique in their own way. I love the forks, however, I think my favorite is the dachshund. Beautiful colors on that lil doggie.
Needless to say, the baby is the treasure here!
What equipment are you using here?
I hope we enjoy many more of your images...................
Liz

Re: Introducing Myself
Thank you for the welcomes! I think I will enjoy it here, need to look around the forum more. Seems to be much to explore.
Liz, I shoot Olympus. E-3 being my main camera with an E-300 as a back-up. Lenses that I use most are Zuiko 50-200 SWD, Zuiko 12-60 SWD and Zuiko 50 mm.

Re: Introducing Myself
Very nice photos! Welcome
did you have a piece of bacon in front of the dog ?
my dog just doesn't stand still whenever I'm pointing at her with the camera.

Re: Introducing Myself
Not a piece of bacon but a treat yes. Treats will usually do the trick if the dog is trained to sit and wait for a treat.

Re: Introducing Myself
Weiner dog!!!!!
Anyone who doesn't smile for a weiner dog is obviously a bad person
Welcome to the site. As Old Timer said, "impressive intro." Glad to have you with us and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more. I also want to note that I'm always happy to have another female photographer join us. Some photography sites are so full of blustery testosterone-driven argument. I think we're different and I think more women will make the site even better. So thanks for joining us and adding some more balance to one of the nicest photography sites on the Web
